Ureyso I just watched the Beach of Death video and I have no intention of arguing with you or twisting anything. You know exactly how that term is used so you know how anyone who read it would understand it I was not judging you or telling you off I was dismissing you. Perhaps I should have tried to reason with you but I was too angry at the time, either way I apologised for my comment, something that I don't plan on repeating. If you did not use that term how I understood it well and good and if you instead used it against me then good for you.

black velevet: my aunt hates Arabs with pssions. she really really really hates them because she worked for them for 23 years and they treated her like sh!t in that time!! i dont the Arab could be said i her presence!!
i lived with Asians for long time. they ok people, the young gen that is!the older generation on the other hand are different story!
they hate us with passion, and im not lying to you most of them would come up to you and tell you go back to your country, you fuking somali!!!
so in manycases is ok to hate someone/people bcause how they lik with you and your people but im not giving excuses to racist, its just that we all have reasons to hate certain people bcaus of what we have seen them do/say!!

persons one, two or even a thousand can't make you blame a people millions !!!
racism is a big issue in somalia, we are probally 80% racists but hopefully our hate for our own will brush off on to foreigners as a lot of us are diaspora and will meet many different nationalities who hate Somalis
its not good but at least is better than hating your own

If some1 hates you for your color then that somebody is a racist but if some1 says well, I don't want you to marry my daughter or son because of the complications that will arise from this unconventional union.... is this racism or with genuine concern?

admin racism is not only colour of the skin.
ive seen people discriminate each other based of tribial fake nobality etc.
racists will find to discriminate in any way and shape.
even poor people are discriminated for being simply poor.

bro hyper, racists discriminate ppl along race lines. If some1 hates a particular religion and its believers, that some1 is not necessarily a racist
Of course there are many other types of discrimination, like the ones u mentioned.

You are right marriage is difficult enough without adding cultural differences into the mix and yes families have every right to be concerned and warn their daughter of the troubles that may lie ahead. That is natural and commendable. However if the couple decide to make a go for it anyway surely it would be wrong to make haram what God has made halal and deny them their right. I have heard of families who threaten their daughters with disownment and that's just wrong, especially if there is nothing wrong with the man interms of personality and religion, at which point it starts to look a lot like racism
