And that my friend is qabiil right there.
Its a good thing that you are doing and all, but it still has qabiil mixed in it

Qabiil would mean that I would be obsessed with my regions development completely ignoring the rest of the country, I can honesty say that I care first about the well-being of my family and then the state of Somalia as a whole.
Yes but that still has qabiil mixed into it, I was just saying u can't completely seperate Somali's and qabiil
Anyways if ur anti qabiil, u should be anti TFG

A Solution for the Probelms in Somalia today can only come from Puntland and since 67%% of the Diaspora in North America are from Puntland, it makes a lot of sense for us to get together and start lobbying Washington.
Mogadishu iyo Hargeysa are a great disappointment to Somalia today. Marka Garowe is ready to take their place and lead Somalia worldwide.

Diaspora isn't the solution, if it was the solution, the civil war would not have dragged on this long with the number of Somalis who have learned the system and trade of the West during the years before and after the collapse of the last government.
The purpose is to create a credible federal government, a central authority. You can't do that with some guys in suits who have Uni degrees, post graduate degrees, ect with no arms or military force.
The solution comes from the ground and if it is going to be Al Shabaab putting the whole Somali populace under one body, then thats the way to move...
but the lack of political development the last 20 years has led to this point and our people can't just blame hebel hebel for it forever
shirib has a point, even though somaliland, puntland, hell even the central parts of somalia are in calm as well...Mogadishu is always looked at...whenever something goes down, Xamar gets the country in the news the vast majority of the time

Dont have much to contributed to the topic since I can't really explain what is really going on in Somalia. But I do have an observation to share and that is the Somalis from abroad that are involved in the politics of the country are not really the young people but old Somali men that were either part of the previous Somali governmentS or those that were part of the opposition groups. It is basically the same people who created all these problems that we are counting on to fix the problems.
