Anyway...Im a typical Londoner but Im in love with the Bristol accent. Sounds trashy and oh so hot at the same time

New York City alone has various accents i.e. Long Islander, Staten Islander, Brooklyn, Bronx, etc. Boston has its own variations. So does Chicago. Philly & Detroit have similar accents even though they are nowhere near each other. Most media outlets use Northern American accent. Most Americans associate Southern accent with low I.Q., confederate heritage and look down on it. The only people who speak it are people who live in the Bible belt in the deep South. But you can find Northern accent spoken all across from the East coast to the West coast. Mostly because the first inhabitants settled in the North East and spread out from there on.

Bronx is mostly inhabited by blacks, Puerto Ricans, Italians, etc. They created their own variation.
Almost every ethnic group, including Jews in New York have their own version of English.

That bristol is the worst accent by far, i hate that whole south west accent, they sound like cornish farmers. Tbh i probably hate geordie and scouse accent even more. London accent is the best
