I cried when I heard this news. I was so fortunate to see him about four weeks ago. He was doing a lecture on Qabriga, and he wept, and made everyone there weep. He made the most beautiful Dua for haweenka Somaalida. May Allah (swt) light his grave, and widen it for him, and Ilaah Jannatul Firdaus haku bishaareeyo. Ameeen! Truly an extraordinary man. Alhamdulillah.

Then about 2 weeks ago, his 27 year old niece (the daughter of his wife's sister) died in Ottawa when she fell from an overpass bridge. The Sheikh was deeply touched by these two deaths. May Allah SWT Make it easy for his family and Grant them patience and sabr.

Don't mind me, i was looking at the ratio of jaberti forumers saying 'Ilaahay ha uu naxariisto' in this topic compared to those of other groups. I couldn't help but to wonder the connection between the two.

The shiek was bigger than qabiil to all Somalis and we the youth really connected with Marxuum Shiek Maxamed Rashaad.
