'Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return' .

Sheekh Rashaad was a unique sheekh, he will be greatly missed. A blessed place he died and a blessed life he lived.

We speak the same language, we look alike, have same culture and tradition, no caste or class system, all of us are Sunni Muslims, do we need to know the Sheikhs clan as a sign of how small our clan difference is? God help us.

Considering our country is the laughingstock of the world, in war, anarchy, civil unrest, and we are immigrants and refugees around the world because of clan tension...well yes.

p.s. We do have a "caste system".

Politics and the hunger for power is what is behind the clan tension... not the differences between Somali people as we are homogenous people, i dont see the point of bringing his clan to it achieves.

Yung- manshallah and AUN once again. Can you please share more stories of the sheikh and your experiences with him. Walahi role models of this nature are very rare in our community. I really enjoyed the stories you mentioned, manshallah.
