The Shabab-Ogaden Connection is very vague, most of Waamo Ogadeen support Ras Kambooni, They took part in the War's against the warlords/Tigree/Abdullahi Yusuf, Some have entered the fold of Shabab but this is the case of every region which comes under Shabab control until recently Shabab had no influence in Jubbada Hoose the Ogadeni settlements. After there rumble with Ras kamboni/Ahmed madoobe, the lack of support base Shabab has within Ogadeni circle's can be seen with most people fleeing even without the fighting due to Kambooni withdrawal, no one came to Shabab with a welcome note no elder, no man women or child came to enquire about how they will rule, something typically done with the arrival of new ruler's...this is a population very resentful of Shabab.Its a huge blow for shabab to loose this Clans support inhabiting a very strategic location, now there waiting on a counter-offensive and seems like Shabab will be faced with many fronts, in Jubbaland they will meet a spectacular defeat.

The support Shabab has within this group is not as many depict,they have important figureheads but no deep-rooted support base as once was the case during the Ethiopian invasion and Warlord era where the Enemy was clear.

The O connection in other region's like the Ogaden and NFD is 0% no support at all.

al shbaab did not carry this out and an ogaden victim is being used as a scapegoat
