More or less confirmed now

From Ldn to doha to dubai to djoubti to hargeisa, crazy trip all in 24hrs, only route agency could find with immediate departure.

Told my boss, she was just moaning a bit, i said regardless i wont be sitting at my desk on Monday morning, so its a case of shall i come back when i do or shall i assume i am no longer working here. Still waiting for a def answer, but feel like leaving anyway, want to chill out and maybe take an extended break for 6 months or something.

1 hr transit in doha cos were travelling on qatar airlines, 3 hrs in dubai inshallah and unknown in djoubti cos its Africa and they fly when they decide. Inshallah kheyr bro, it would of be good to meet you though.

May your grandmother get well soon, my friend. But what's with the panic? Calm down and go book a week or two off. Drop your mother to Hargeisa and return to your job. The year is almost over anyway and a new year starts (with new holidays). Go back in Feb or March and pick your mother up. It's not the end of the world. You really don't have to loseyour job over this.

Not a bad idea. Booked the ticket for a month and might have to go back if my mum decides to stay longer. To be honest i'm kinda of fed up of the 9-5 (actually to 6, i work for yahuuds), i finished uni in May, started in June and been working almost 2 yrs since. Kinda need a break and alhamdulilah this is probably one of the few times i can afford not to work, i.e no family responsibilities, money i have will last me a while considering my costs are very little. I reckon i've got 25-50 years old to build something decent career wise, i can afford to take a while off. So use to the job and clock watching to go home its getting boring walahi, i need a change and this might give me the chance to take some risks and do stuff, before i settle down.

waraa this is not the best time to lose ur job,,u know well how the job market is these days,, better think before u lose ur job ,,one week is enough take ur mum there and come back the next week.

The airlines are world class but the airport is a clean version of Djoubit airport. That hour will feel like ten. Good luck.

looooooooool the airport is pretty shitty...we were transit their as well bt they didnt keep us there for 5/6 hours like dallo did in djbouti

See helwaa response. Beyond the mahram issue, 3 countries where my mum will have little to no rights, too risky for her to travel alone.
