FAH you are very wrong, six the 10 leadership posts in Al shabab are held by foreign commanders, including Abu Yahya Al-libi

Of course, if Somalis were to unite against Shabab and defeat them... they would fight each other. As the cycle goes on and on.
But like other wars, based on qabiil - the enemy was clear cut. This one is not clear cut, because there are non-Somalis in Shabab.
I think there is a point even for Somalis that fighting can not continue on forever, it will be time to put the guns down. Especially since things seem getting worse and worse.

Even if the people of the south wanted to fight Shabab (a) they do not have the resources (b) they probably do not have the might to fight for a long period of time. Shabab is the worst thing to happen to Somalia by far.

But if African Union troops do not leave this gives them more ammunition for the agenda.
The ajnabi fighters in Shabaab is also overrated. 99% of the fighters are skinny black Somalis.

Al-Shabab is the response to the warlord era and this is what we got.

Contrary to popular belief it isn't the response, it is the symptom. These teenagers are more corrupt than the warlords, because they are ABUSING religion for the political needs and wants. Plus they're misguided children who have lived in a place in which they have seen that the only way to be heard and respected is to draw a weapon. The whole NURTURER v NATURE debate.

I respect the era of warlords, because you knew they were pimps. But these low-life teenagers are trying to profess wisdom by weaponry.

Could it be that you are afraid if shabab reaches your homeland they will make an end to nude/recreational beaches?

You clearly don't know my ancestors to think we can be beaten by Shabab, our intelligence ALONE is enough. We live and learn. But that is besides the point, instead of directing real objectives here you threw snide remarks.

Hutuking,

You are right though. Shabab is putting 80% of their effort on Xamar. They think if You rule Xamar everything else is cake. Without a doubt if AMISOM leaves tommorow they will capture all of Somalia. Btw, Hutking, which color cimmama will You wear when Shabab captures the Country?

Murax,

You don't know what you are talking about. What you just said is a political talking point and it has no basis for an argument.

Murax,
Green cimaamad.
It will be longest taqiyyah in my life.
I can imagine greeting an shabaab scholar ' assalamu caleykum', while deep inside my heart iam actualy saying ' may death be upon you'. Giving fake smile, though iam extreme angry and wished i could break his neck.

So what you are trying to tell us all here in so many words is that you are a flower bitch who is scared to fight for his beliefs?

The problem with Somalis is... most do not like Al-Shabaab.
Looks like Somalis in the west have convinced themselves of their own lies....the lies they were telling to their gaalo masters. Al Shabab enjoys support from just about all the Somalis in the South. It is the Somalis in the west who do not support them.

Berke,

From someone who had close family visit Somalia I beg to differ. Now the Somalis do not wanna fight them, and prefer them to the warlords true, but I wouldn't say they're in love with them either. They can just tolerate them.
