huuno, men have a one track mind when it comes to women, you're either interested or not....it is not wise to communicate the latter through some clandestine giggly girly let down for him to decipher.....

be direct...if you want him...go get him, if not, tell him to hit the road -->

because in the end, you might think you're just trying to be nice....but to him, if you're not interested, you're were just wasting his time...FACT!!!

I have never read such a load of claptrap for a long time, what is it with you guys acting so pompously? I mean if u don't like the look of him or interested in him (cos u naturally like some blokes) tell him clearly 'sorry, and bye', he won't bite u or assault u and he would get over it. I don't like the way some somali girls behave: if they see you walking into a room/lecture room/library, they would start to chatter and look at u in a bad way, for God's sake! we are not interested in every blasted girl we meet, and get off your high horses and get a grip on reality, rant over, lol

Let's just say he's not you're type. Right okay. Lol, anyway..so this fella who's not ur type approaches you and because you're too nice to tell him you're not interested, you let him just carry on talking. At the end of the convo it gets to that bit where he wants your number. You then say something along the lines of "Nah, you're alright" (aka "No, you're not getting my number). Would you say you were leading him on during the whole sheeko making him think you were actually interested? What about if during that whole convo he was doing all the talking and you were basically just answering his questions without really contributing anything and you did that so he could take the hint. Hint being: I don't really want to talk to you. Is that wrong and should just reject him early on?

Oh and if you do reject him, eventually, and you see him again somewhere... Is it still 'leading on' if you smile and say hello (he'll think he still has a chance but you're just being friendly).
Do what I do, tell him you're not looking to date him but you can always be friends and nothing but. They'll do one of two things, either be your friend and respect that or he'll just walk away.

Or you can go the coward way and tell him that you got a man!

I feel sorry for guys who are not well versed in lady department and read this thread taking it as truf

All my years I have been walking this earth I have observed women love attention whether she is interested in the guy or not, if she isnt getting approached by a dude, she will develope insecurity problems even if she's pretty. I know some chicks that will throw their number at a homeless man just cus he asked lol

anywho if you dont want ur number out, DON"T GIVE IT OUT.

When he asks, just say NO in a polite manner.

Interesting, you don't consider biting someone as assault.

Okay, so most of ya'll are saying come out straight with 'Im not interested' before he begins talking?

Advo and other fellas...so would you consider it polite if a chick tells you to hit the road/gedh lost/ma ku dooneeyo before you even got a sentence out? Theres no polite way of rejecting a guy that comes to talk to you and I always thought the best way to avoid all the drama of 'I just want to ask something walal'...'Why dont you want to talk to me?'...'Am I bothering you?'.....etc...would be just to listen out right to their sheeko and at the end tell them 'No'. I never thought this was a mean way of doing it, the opposite actually because after you've conversated with them and they realise you're alright...they then take the 'rejection' easier. Lol Come on...1 conversation with a chick, shes not batting her eyelashes, no giggling insanely at every word you say, no girly high pitched voice with every answer to a question....would you seriously think that is leading on?

1londoner. Let me honest with you, men prefer to be told the truth by women instead of being lied to, I know the truth is hard and rejection can be very difficult to take but you can leave with it. But the situation you are describing is very simple: you just met a stranger on a bus stop, why would you entertain his advances? A simple 'no' should have suffice.

Well technically, you wouldn't really be lying in this situation... :?

Well, am taking about general rejection by women and I prefer honesty to sugar coating, I believe many men will accept the premise of my assertion. Anyway, do what you think is rationale, by the way, how do girls take rejection by guys? Lol
