Saado cali is a legend that stands head and shoulders above her peers. She is the only somali singer that has principles and the moral ethics to stand for justice and liberty for all no matter the cost. She had the bravery and strength to condemn the MSB government for injustices when everyone was singing aboow siyaad iyo guul wade siyaad. She took up the fight to defend clans that she did not belong to even when the consequence were severe. 30 years later saado cali still stays true to her principles in terms of being a patriot and defender of jusice. She has the right to defended her people and somali union from secessionists and aggressors.
It is hypocrisy at its worst to see the most tribal and hateful people in Somalia accusing her of qabyaalad when it was only yesterday that she was fighting their course and they were showering her with praises. The irony is that no accuses their singer and poets of qabyaalad even if they are blatantly tribal. People like hadarawi were writing song like hadanan, hadanan, khadar was singing hargeysaa ha dheeliyin and people like ina mooge took up arms. And today their singers ( even their wadaads) supports their tribal enclave. They all sing calanyahow ha dhicin and other tribal propagandas. They support their tribal entity's attack on other peoples territories. It is astonishing that this people now have the nerve and gull to accuse other people of qabyalaad. Bullshit, i've said this before. She did not 'stick' up for us. The only reason she got locked up is because of the landcruiser song, feeling used and abused and not getting the same treatment as the 'M' clan of the 'MOD'.
