FAH's topic made me remember an embarrassing event which took place a couple of years ago.. I actually thought I blocked it out of my brain..

This is probably the second most embarrassing thing which happened to me.. :|

A couple of years ago my sisters and aunt went out shopping, I was left with the babies *a 1 year old and a 3 year old*.. I ran out of a few essentials like milk etc so I decided to take the bus since the closest shop was too far to walk.. Like a proper fariid I got the little ones dressed. I strapped the 1 year old in her push chair.. Anyway we got on the bus (which was pretty smooth, no hassle at all AlhamdulilAh).. The 3 year old was taking the piss though, whenever she sees a Somali person either going on the bus or out of the window she would shout 'eeg Somaliida' point than laugh... Lord knows why.. :|

Anywho, as it got to our stop I pressed the bell *like you do.. :| * and got the push chair ready to exit, I told the little 3 year to get off the bus first and than wait for me.. Which she did. As she got off I noticed the Bus driver didn't lower the bus for me.. I looked down and thought to myself 'Comeon Westie you can make it.. Its only a few cm's off the ground, make the pram jump'... Walahi that was a verrrrrrrrrry bad move... I made the push chair 'sort of' jump but it didn't quite turn out like I pictured it in my head.. The pram went SOUTHWARDS and BANG.. the pram fall and I started screaming like a bimbo..

Three men *one behind me and two at the bus stop came running to pick up the push chair' AlhamdulilAh the baby wasn't hurt... I kept screaming 'My baby, my baby, ala ba'ayaaay'.. I quickly thanked the men *I think*.. :| and pushed the push chair away with the screaming baby in it... I few seconds later I remembered the little three year old.. I looked back and I saw her with her dress pushed up to her stomach and her in the middle of pulling her leggings down.. And walahi I kid you not.. She was in the urinating poisition *her knees bent*... I ran to her and pulled her tights up and her dress down.. She kept screaming 'I need to wee wee'.. Mind you at this stage everyone at the packed bus stop was looking @ me and her like... :o ...
I even heard one person say 'F**king teenage mothers'...

Following our performance at a Play, this Asian woman came on stage, grabbed my hand and started crying

Apparently, the play about hate meant so much to her. I had to stand there in awe and confusion

A few years ago I left my computer unlocked and my dad got on and saw my huge porn collection. It was more awkward than anything else when he asked about it.....

So many of them, most i will take with me till the end.

Couple of years ago at school. This woman who was walking behind me stopped and said hi.She asked if i were Somali and i said yes.She told me how she has been watching some program of what has been happening to Somalia and its people and how devastated there were. In telling me so,she got very very emotional. I mean " I am very overdose on this ish" kinda emotional and started wheezing and crying. I do not usually feel comfortable around someone crying but this total stranger was bawling/hugging me and everyone at the busy stairway staring.

years ago in Addis Abbaba i was living in Piyaasa and one evening i was walking from the local mosque and saw one of those kids that sells sweets on the street with the box round their neck. I aproached one kid and asked him, "qula sintinaw" How much are the nuts (they are not real nuts but a bit similar, i don't know what you call them in english) the only problem was that i mispronounced the word and instead of Qolo which is the proper way i said Qula (which means D'ick!) So basicaly i asked the kid how much is your C'ock? His reaction told me there was definitely something wrong, because eventhough my Amharic wasn't that strong i knew what inaati libdha means, go fock your mother

But i was still little bit confused, untill i got to my cuzs house and told them what happened and their reaction didn;t help either

Up to this day i never forget the reaction of that kid.

Something similar happen to me on my freshmen year of high school, the dvd I borrowed was playing and I had the volume very low and my mom (who I thought wasnt home) came in my room and I jumped on the remote to turn it off but in the process one of the battery came out and rolled under my bed, I was nervous and started sweating. Fortunately the TV and my mom were both facing me and she couldnt see unless she fully stepped in but after 10 minutes of words I couldn't make out because of the situation, she left my room completely unaware. phew.

I was out with this girl smart. So I had to play the game. We ended up in a Shisha, I don't smoke but she did. She started to speak to the workers in Arabic and they loved it. I could see the hunger in their eyes. The whole night these two Egyptian fools kept hovering about our table neglecting all the other customers. I was cool aware of everything. One of them came for the 100th time to change the Ashe, I wanted to tell him to fock off, but kept my temper. Everybody could see the coal is perfectly fine but he still changes and whilst trying to get too words in, the prick drops a hot coal in my balls. I short up immediately, like I had being electrocuted and after removing the coal turned around to slap the fool only to see him over acting playing a victim. The girl started feeling sorry for him and said it was an accident . I knew it was sabotage and kept my anger hidden promising a visit back to see this fool alone..
