anyway, i say follow your mind and stick to your own people.

look for your own interest.. your qabiil will not help you when you marry the wrong awful cousin.. or when the train passed

I, for one, support qoraxeey.

These people are like those Afro American dudes who ask "why dem white girls don't wanna get da brothas..."

Follow your mind and marry your kin. Why marry a man who would have no problem kiling your father over such differences.

I am against inter-tribal marriages. I am completely for intra-tribal union. I know it is coming from a girl of mixed clan background but I honestly believe that marrying from other tribes was easy before the civil war. Ever since then, inter-tribal marriages hasn't been easy.

Qoraxeey: My advise to you is, find yourself a handsome Marehan dude and conceive his children. 8-) Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the rate of divorce is higher among people who marry outside of their tribe. Few years down the road when the honeymoon phase wears out, then what is keeping your guys together? at least you can tolerate someone from your tribe :D

Qoraxeey the final decision lays with u.

I dont know about some of the opinions here, I come from clan diverse family and so far so good.

Besides we live in the west and will be here for quite some time, so clan will be pretty useless after our generation.

stick to darood qoraxay, they produce leaders

ogadeen+marexaan= siyaad barre
harti+ogadeen=sayid abdalle hassan
harti+marexaan= farmaajo
marexaan+harti= cabdiweli ali gaaz

if you want a great credit rating marry darood, if want your kids to grow up with infriority complex and poor credit rating marry others.
am little bit harsh but the trut hurts.............. if it aint darood it aint right :D

Snet has really gotten to people. Qabiil and marriage simply don't go together. Its hard enough already to find qof aad ku qanacsantahay, and You make it even harder if You wanna make clan a factor.
