i would be conflicted and stand for a while to resolve the issue, i would not want to buy the canjeelo and then throw it out myself because i hate to throw away food(i think it's a phobia), i would probably point out the spoiled canjeelo to the store owner and tell him it is spoiled as it fell on the floor, i will then let him fill out the holes, at the end i will offer to pay for it, that way he removes it and deals with it.
as for me, i would not buy from a place where food is that easily spoiled by customers.
an ethical question....

Me and my white friend used to do it at Wendy's back in 2004. We have "Spit A" and "Spit B". Spit A was the normal spit while Spit B was the "clearing of the throat" spit.
It happens. I've done it maybe 10 burgers a shift on average. But those r the old days when I was a iyaal. I am much mature now.
i am not a big fan of wendy's but still i can't imagine someone doing something like that. iwowowhworwh!!!!

Your all shameful, why even look away? This is not our way, to do nothing, smh the least you could do is tell the store owner, because if the person who buys it notices and ruins that stores reputation, think about that.

I would have told the Oromo lady off like there is no tomorrowbarakaboy10 wrote:ok. this is what had happened two days ago:
i was in a line at one of the local Somali stores wanting to buy a phone card. also in the line, at the same time, were an Oromo lady with two children. the lady was in front of me and she was holding anjera in her right hand. the anjera was loosely wrapped in a pastry bag and she held the bag at the edge. then all of a sudden the anjera slid out of the pastry bag and onto the floor. she seemed shocked and looked around to see if someone was looking at her. when she glanced to my side, i acted like i didn't see anything. after this quick visual inspection, she put the anjera back into the bag, took it, put it back on the shelf and grabbed a new one without ever telling the store owner who was busy helping other customers and i was the only witnessing it.
first, i didn't make a big deal of it. but when she returned the product to the shelf and got another one without ever telling the store owner, i was shocked and didn't know what to do!!! after mulling what to do about it, i decided not say anything and left. i reached this conclusion for one reason: i thought telling the store lady about what this customer was doing could have produce undesired outcome. and also i didn't wanted to create a greater problem and i thought the advantages of the store owner outweighed everything else. it was really hard for me to do that because usually i don't keep quite when i see something like that taking place.
so my question is: if you were in that situation, what would you have done?
