Have you perchance recently purchased a compilation of English language sayings & famous quotations?
I notice you're using them a lot now a days, perhaps not always in the wittiest context, but they're better than your normal posts.

Listen man, all I'm saying is that a person, by their own actions, can speed up or delay their death. A habit of smoking will most likely result in lung cancer, which can and usually will kill. A habit of engaging in healthy activities and practicing moderation will most likely prolong one's life by many years. Sure, a smoker may outlive a healthy person but that's more of an exception than the rule. There are also unpredictable accidents than can kill, like car crashes. In the coming years and decades, there will be the possibility of manipulating genes/cells in a person's body to eliminate disease and prevent decline and in so doing prolong an individual's life. We do have the power to change our lives for the better, and we shall do so.

union, let me explain this concept to you:

God ultimately knows and has written in the past your exact time of death. Yes, your actions can dictate what you will do but it is all in accordance to God's will. If you smoke and die of lung cancer, that's how you're supposed to and written to that demise. Your actions are tied to God's will.

Yes, you are right God willed it 50,000 years before the creation of the heavens and the Earth.
The Prophet (PBUH) says, “The first thing created by Allah was the pen, then, He ordered it to write, so it wrote everything that will happen till the Day of Judgment.” (narrated by At-Tirmidhi, Abu-Dawud, and Ahmad). This Hadith is narrated in another way by Al-Bukhari. His narration will make it clearer for you. He says that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) says, “Allah (SWT) said to the pen write my knowledge about my creatures until the Day of Judgment.”
