I blame in part lack of accountability.
That's correct, lack of accountability is the issue here. The TFG is facing similar security breaches as the ones in Kabul.
Samatr wrote:I think were on the same page about them being needed to be taken out, but you know just as well as me that it can only be contained at best; as long as these cowards have an outlet to reach the poor things will not change I doubt those carrying out the suicide attacks are family members of shabaab's leaders/top makeshift officials.
That's true, the leaders of these groups will only prey on the weak, their families are safe and will never carry such attacks. Why should they? they live in luxury. Hypocrisy is rampant with these fools. I would drop Bible leaflets at their camps just to piss them off. Al-Shabaab will be eradicated once a better alternative comes up.
Opening a titty bar in front of their houses would do just fine, anything is possible.

Dont lock the door when you go to sleep so if you get robbed or killed it will be qadar anyways.

When your time comes you will die, when you are meant to get injured you will get injured, it don't matter where you are in the world.
while you have a legit point, Mogadishu doesn't have the security capabilities of those countries

Whatever man. You are comparing death to robbery now? tell me did the 4000 people who lost their lives in mere minutes in the Twin Towers plan on dying that day?

What about the ones in the london subway? or Oslo? I can go on and on. Dude if your time is up nothing will get in the way of it. You can't escape death, you can lock your door, or build yourself a time machine but death will come get you regardless.

blue, how many times have we seen this scene so far? They died in part because of impotent TFG.

As they say fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Shame on TFG security apparatus. In the modern world, a large scale internal investigation as to what went wrong, recommendations and necassary changes would have taken place after Hotel Shamo's incident and all public gatherings would be banned till a viable solution is in place. They MUST stop these gatherings till they can secure them.

I'd encourage all families of today's victims to get together and demand compensation from the government.

More of this kind attacks will happen until tfg announces bandow in the night hours and does every day house to house controles. Anyone who breaks the bandow should be killed.

The dead died because their time was up, nothing to do with lack security.
Whats the difference between robbery and death, are they not both written for you?

You originally claimed it had nothing to do with lack of security, and if this attack occured because there was a considerable lax in security enforced then that has a big part to play in so far in this attack succeeding in the first place.

I think you are confusing yourself, those who died today were meant to die, they didn't choose to die, this is in stark contrast to the death of female who carried the attack, she chose to take her life.

Islamically that can be reasoned as it was written for them, but does that excuse the lack of security? no.

they didn't choose to die
Its not about the choice to die but the prevention of it.

AUN to everyone who died.

I read that the security forces were actually patting people down...the woman ran in the building and detonated inside with soldiers chasing her/shouting after her. In la toogto aa ku fiicneed ahlu naarta.
