Barely there's like literally 100 left and they're all very old people. There was a huge exodus to Israel in the 60's I think, they airlifted most of them out.

My grandfather who was from Aden used to mention how they had their own neighborhood and relations were pretty good, but it changed drastically later on.

Yeah the few remaining families refused to relocate but most eventually gave in.

that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.

I wonder why this policy would only apply to Saudi Arabia, shouldnt this be taken into context, such as when the declaration was made. It could be that the prophet (PBUH) only declared this when the peninsula was under Muslim control and islamicised, and could not declare the same for non-Muslim regions; places outside Muslim control.

I can assure you that any Arab Jew would have a better life in Israel than in any Arab country. Arabs have always been jealous and envious of the Jews and are extremely hostile towards them.

You mean Arab nationalist Jews in Arab countries,or you mean the Mizrahi Jews?.The Mizrahi Jews are discriminated against by their fellow Ashkenazi/European Jews funnily enough.

There was documentary on Moroccan Jews,there's a large number of them and they sounded patriotic, but I'm guessing the ones that live near Palestine are hardly so, for obvious reasons.

The idea that the entire arabian peninsula is a holy land and that no non-muslims could live in it and no churches or synagogs is a modern idea brought to you by the House of Saud and their capture of the Hejaz.

What has been the generally acceppted idea is that Medina and Mecca are holy and should be kept from non-muslims
but outside of them it should be the same as anywhere else.

Ok then, but i would like to have a look at the original arabic text,
do you know an online source, i have it at hme but i am at the office.

what i am curious about is that the term arab peninsula or jazirat al arabiya is a modern term
i would be surprised if it is there in the original, a different wording is more likely to be used.
