So.. hmm. I was under the impression they were of the same line.
Not exactly laakin waa leesku soo qabtaa. Digil is older than Mirifle

Is your dads family from around Dafeed, Balidoogle?
So Digil is older than Mirifle (my assumption), but Mirifle isn't from Digil? I also thought Mirifle was from Rahanweyn, which is from Digil. Aright.

They're from Diinsoor, mainly. That's about as much I know.

I'm pretty sure Rahanweyn is the main clan with Digil and Mirifle as it's 2 sub clans.
Mirifle and Rahanweyn are the same thing, just two different names
Oh, I guess wiki lied to me again. So where does Digil fit into all this? Is it a sub clan of Rahanweyn or is Rahanweyn a sub clan of it?

there's Digil and then there's Mirifle, I don't know the lineages. Mirifle and Rahanweyn are the same thing, the names are interchangeable. If a person say's he's Rahanweyn, he's saying he's Mirifle.

Don't believe anything wiki says about Somali qabiils.

I thought that was because Rahanweyn and Mirifle were very close, chronologically. But aright.

If something doesn't make sense to me, I'm going to ask for clarification. I explained why I thought what I thought, and wanted to know why he had his opinion. Why simply believe what one person says? Clarification and multiple observation are key for any discussion. Don't see a reason to knock that.

Everyone has a different opinion in this place. If I took everything without question, what does that say about me?

So are they both clans or sub clans and where does Digil and Mirifle come from? For example Ogaden comes from Darood. So who do they come from? And do most Digil and Mirifle speak Af Maay, Somali, or both? And which regions of Somalia do they live the most?

Ps. Sorry if my questions are bothering you. I've just been very curious about the Rahanweyn ever since I befriend this Rahanweyn girl in Kenya (her brothers were gorgeous). :D

alpha, if it has anything to do with my above comment, I meant different ppl asking the same question even tough it has already been answered.
