But I ownder if that waas the case when she first married her husband. I think, when things did not work out between her and her husband, she started thinking about the other guy.
It could be that when they departed and each went their own separate way, it wasn't mutual separation and she felt there was some hope of getting back. Then it didn't happen that way and fate with her husband intervened. With the subconcious attachment covered by her new found love for her husband, it makes sense she remembered the previous guy and the passion they had for one another when her current relationship went south.
Love is good only when it is mutual, equal and both parties want each other. It may feel good and juicy in the beginning, it may give you drug of happiness you come to rely on, but in the end, it is a feeling better not had to begin with if it will fail. Love without reservation is not an option for a serious person.
