I have actually. It was a nice experience until the camels started farting and someone told me there may be lions and hyenas about. I spent a nice sleepless night in the landcruiser holding a shot-gun. :(

LOL .You had a shotgun?.Saddex habeen felt like saddex bilood due to the fact that we were offerred parasite-infested mattresses which only affected newcomers, no shot gun for that. And the camels, I terrified a large one with the toosh as I made my way from another aqal in the dark, we both ran opposite directions. Poor thing

It was quite embarrassing, but that fact that I wouldn't get eaten alive by hungry beasts more than made up for it. Waxa kasii darey, my younger brother, who was 12 at the time, ayaa geela raacey oo soo hoydey in middle of the night in pitch black wearing nothing but a macawis and holding a hangool. The little sh*t showed me up in front of geeljires - who are merciless when they make fun of you :x  .

I'm a reer magaal, I don't like countrysides.

yeah our people in Hawd are merciless. I was born and grew up there but I feel like a stranger when I go there this days.People make fun of me and they say I changed a lot and I am a like a foreigner to them. Last time they were calling "EELAAY" because they were saying that I talk like a southerner even though I speak good waqooyi accent compared to other people :D .I like the countryside life because its easy life whithout stress.Whenever I go to somaliland I like to go to the countryside to relax and drink fresh camel milk.Inshallah I am planning to move back to the countryside when I get old and become a pensioner.

It wasn't Hawd. It was HA territory, I've forgotten the name now.
