There is a difference between being a Muslim, and being a practicing Muslim. I grew up in the West for the majority of my life. And I've left many "Muslims" because they were not practicing Muslims. There are people that will be Muslims regardless of their location. I wish to be amongst them.

However, there are plenty of Muslims who are Muslims because of their surroundings, and when tested by Allah they abandon Islam and follow the trend of their environment. Somali atheists are a prime example. They are fallen leaves on the ground. If they left Islam while they were in a Majority Muslim country it would be a little bit more believable. But leaving Islam because you "came to the West". Is Sheep talk.

I doubt they'd care what you chose to believe. Even in the west, a Muslim becoming an atheist is a pretty big deal and isn't just something done on a whim as you make out.

This is getting rather confusing.

The question should be, will a Muslim that is taken out of their Muslim majority environment keep his or her faith when put to the test? Sadly, if we are to take you and Dr's views most of them are failing. Another question should be WHY? Why should the generation of my children be 50% Muslims?

You are absolutely correct, for most of us in the West we are put in a situation where when we reach a certain age we start to contemplate/question our faith, and it is at that critical time that some individuals refuse to declare it and others declare it firmly. It's not easy, and May Allah make it easy for the young and old generation.

i think lately there has been an influx from that forum because of the many new cheesy and cringe worthy characters, just like there has been an influx of airhead fags and bimbos from somalilife. this regrettable trend dominates thus forum now.
