Turbulence wrote:Somalida are not like that unless they are culturally assimilated their host countries. If you are married to a decent Allah fearing Somali girl, you have nothing to worry about. I worked at this place few years ago where almost all employees were almost all married but they were all sleeping together. Wife at home, girlfriend at work and vice versa. Most white women and men cheat with either their co-workers or their ex-boyfriends and girlfriends.

FAH, we ain't like these people, man. Cheating imo is a cadaan thing wallahi. Even Madow (the guys are obvi scum but their women aren't major cheaters) people don't cheat as much. In cadaan households you have the male partner working hours in the midst of other women acting like 'secretaries' and the female partner is out with her friends at a pub getting drunk, ultimately shacking up with other drunk punters who are looking to get down for a quick lash and dash. What do you expect? When there is a sustained lack of quality time between the partners and lack of faith (a Muslim at his worst would prolly not cheat most of the time) then all hell breaks loose. I just feel sorry for the kids that are inbetween all this. I've got one or two gaal freinds (more like acquaintances) who were in relationships but openly claimed to me they would ditch any commitment the moment they had they been away from their partners and were in the face of other hot women. One of them had sex with a girl ater a whole-week night out in Liverpool where the girl herself had a boyfriend but she felt less guilt when she knew the guy was also not single. Mutual guilt = less guilt.

I lost it at STBXW

I read this thread where the guy's wife cheated on him multiple times, got pregnant by the other dude, decided to forgive her again, and then he gets kicked out of his own house and moves into her mom's crib.

 I died when I figured that one out. The one I'm stuck on right now is WW for wife. Does it sarcastically mean wonderful wife ...what's the extra w for?

 ah, right.

Lill, I can't believe this dude is saying he still loves her and at first was contemplating getting back into an "R". What's there to love? She's a liar, she didn't really give a fuck about your 21 year marriage when she went off with some middle aged fatass (that's gotta be a kick in the nuts btw especially considering the fact that she wasn't giving him any for years). She uses him etc etc. I'm seriously amazed by this guy and his piece of shit of a wife or should I say POSW.

The site is addictive  I read a thread about a guy who bagged his wife cheating, then forgave her. The OM has a wife/family, but the husband said he wouldn't snitch him out so long as he doesn't some near his wife again. Then homeboy downloads a bunch of spyware onto her celly where he can turn on the mic, look through texts/call logs and gets her pics. A few months later, he gets some sort of gut feeling and turns on the mic. Lo and behold, she's getting smashed by the OM in her office  He rushes over but the OM just dipped. Ransacks the place, calls the OM and threatens to upload the sound clip on Facebook if he doesn't come back. He spoke to the both of them separately and they both admitted of having sex at least 6 times in the last 2 months. He blackmailed the guy into moving to another state. That's not what I'm even shocked about. HE GOES ON THIS SITE AND ASKS IF HE SHOULD GET A DIVORCE. Another fucked up fact is that his wife is a marriage/family counselor :?

TAM is just ridiculous and scary. I don't want to go back but I can't help it

That's the thread :wow:
For the younger folks, one thing you wont get until you have kids is that these little people are two things I would kill myself for without a second thought. I kicked her out of the house for 2 months and as much as I hated her for those two months, watching the affect it had on these two kids was devastating. "Where's mommy" "When is mommy coming home" Their personalities changed and it made me so sick to see them acting different. They would stay with her at her parents and then stay with me and sometimes they didn't want to come home to me they wanted to stay with her.

Enter lonely nights of binge drinking and sobbing (35 year old man btw) on my floor for hours.

There is no amount of hate toward her that is worth taking the kids' mommy from them or causing them any instability. That is my opinion. But I guess people divorce all the time and kids deal / adjust so who knows?

Still, seeing the effect it had on them is why I eventually invited her back to the house. Some nights we are in the same bed, the last few nights, I have been on the couch because I don't want to be near her. But the kids are very normal and happy now. Being a dad, you always (or should) think in sacrifice mode. I would be willing to be in a sub par marriage if it meant my kids would be better off.

Now if she and I were fighting all the time and the kids were seeing it, that would be a different story. But she and I agree to be mom and dad at all times when the kids are around and we talk almost every night. We talk a lot. sometimes they are good talks, sometimes they are not.

Just trying to add a bit of perspective on what my age and kids make me have to do.
Without question, if I had no kids, I would be single now. 100%

I caught my wife searching some guy on the internet one month or so before we were married.

I personally spent 25k on the wedding. Now understand very clear. when I say I personally, I mean ME.. Not her.. Not her family.. ME.. I saved 25k for our wedding.

She cried and I sucked it up at that time I thought WTF am I going to do. I made myself believe she never met him.

About 2 years later after our first son was 1 years old. I caught her trying to hook up with the I.T. guy from the brotherhood of sisters of saint joseph of boston. He was basically gonna fly in and fvck her in a motel room 1 week before our wedding anniversary. I even found the cloths she was going to wear to meet him.

We did some crappy counseling and just rug swept it.

About 7 years ago I caught her emailing her old boyfriend that she went out with before me. Longstory short he was a drug addict that is now a drug counselor in Florida.

So I guess I have been lucky that I caught her having or trying to have 3 Emotional Affairs but nothing physical.

This time I snapped. We went to a very good therapist / MC. As a friend said to me, He felt we came out of that episode much stronger. I felt it too. We connected much better after that.

Fast forward to Sept 25, 2012. I caught my wife having an Affair both EA and PA. She lied about trying to work it out.

BTW we have 2 kids now. 13 and 8.

On Dec 30, 2012 I caught her buying the Other man a Xmas present. I had to grill her though to get her to confess. Nothing ever came straight out.

Today we are almost done with the divorce.

19 years ( 5 years dating, 3 years before engagement, 2 years of putting her through college and paying for it. 14 years of marriage ) down the fvcking tubes except for 2 great kids. If anything this divorce had made me closer with my kids. Go figure.
