awdalites do not support the ONLF.
The coast and borders are too big to be guarded.
any one can come in from the sea, but the ONLF failed to recognize that there is a government structure in somaliland with security services.
if they were discrete they would have gotten away with it, but brazenly stampeding like that invites a reaction.

Gurey I have never seen any Awadalite wish ONLF any ill-will, it was Zeylicis who assisted the landing and then several trucks took them to the mountains to cross into Shinile/Jigjiga. It was a big force but it was compromised during the landing or during the trek to the mountains, ONLF has used access routes through out Puntland and Somaliland many times its not always reported( the idea is to do it clandestinely to avoid what happened in Awdal) but that one was compromised.

they were compromised because they were not discrete.
i have read the reports in detail, the sent to large a consignment,
they should have stuck with the usual smaller ones so the SL government can turn a blind eye.

sending a big shipment like that was a middle finger to somaliland and ethiopia, saying i dare you.

You support ONLF? Since when, yaa Sahal? Any thread that you dedicated for the ONLF freedom movement which I could dig now from Snet? ..or you just do lip service?

From all the people you're fun of the rat of JL ..M.Amiin. N you want EEGA( the spokes man of JL on Snet) to join Anti-JL HAGites You must be out of your mind..

I respect Ina Baxar( some one who is against anything of OGs), then a feeble minded man who wants to play nice when he loses the argument.

Ina Baxar, the born again blue flag nationalist , .. stick to the indwelling foley cather, as no one is taking you serious on this fora.
My friend I support the ONLF struggle because I'm somali and that is my national duty toward a people who defending us againist amhaar, they are our somali wall. If they put down their arms, they would think of more lands. As a people we should support them but not officially. Once the ONLF has landed at awdal by sea and they went in. It was amazing how they got support from awdalities.
Here is one of my thread
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=297010
Sahal good try awoowe, but that's short lived thread which you dedicated to the political views of Sh.Hassan Dahir Aweys. You quoted him, and asked few lazy questions about pan Somalism ideology,or the greater Somalia. Only sheekh Hyper bothered to partially respond to your questions. I don't see where you supported or discussed about ONLF in that thread.

I know people on this fora, who openly supports ONLF and the freedom movement. They regularly contribute Ogaden section of this fora. But I never saw you participating it. I always considered you neutral, as many of the Snet members. Perhaps you could try again, and prove me wrong that you were not doing lip service.

 sxb I'm not wadani but I believe in somalinimo or somali race that is about the nation not about the nationality or the country so that is why I side with ONLF. I have made some good posts about ONLF but I can't remember the threads since it belonged to other people. Secondly I'm progressive person but with a politicized identity so I don't fit to be a progressive. For example, I'm pro-govt and I know this govt is not fair when it comes to lower shabeele because I know the wrong is from the people not from the govt, in fact, the native clan in there has brough the other one into their home and were part of aideed war in hamer againist ali mahdi, had joined the SNA before they got targeted by aideed like many clans. Now the native clans are the governor and the mayor and one of them is refusing the newcomers in their region to register in the army. Though the army is a federal job and every body has a right to work as a soldier in the whole country, of course it will still empower the other clan but its not a good time for the govt to change the things radically and for the first time the newcomers have been burned alive under hassan sheekh, not just in marka but in many small villages around qoryooley one of them is mumin guure and his son. If there were no govt today, the warlords were would have been ruling them yet they are talking againist the govt.
In jubooyinka part of the wrong is from the people, they let it to be a safe hevan for others and forgot the minorities being the native ones who deserve more. Inshallah both of them will sort it out together.
