It's sad that a hazardous and disastrous situation is being politicized. Hundreds of our fellow Somalis have lost their livelihood due to the cyclone (Ilaah ha u gargaaro) and the only thing our leaders can think about is who gets the brownie points. Whether Faroole delibrately ignores the gracious act of the SFG or whether the President is pledging money just to buy off Faroole's sympathy, there is a seemingly lack of sincerity in all of this. The SFG should help their people in Northeast Somalia regardless of what it's governor does or say. When you do something good, it should not come with selfish intentions.
