My ex didn't even let me go to Karmel mall for about 2hrs to chat with boys. She will call for about 2-3 times in an hour asking for things which I know she could find if she wanted to

Not really. Modern technology has its origin in the past. It's nothing more than one technology evolving to a better one. For instance, public transportation started in riding horses, mules, camels, etc. It then evolved to wagons of various types, and then to the modern car which was enlarged to accommodate more people. Things of that nature.

Zuleikha, If a man is done with u, he is done with u no matter what u do and asking him not to go vacationing alone won't stop him. Common sense tells us that if there is no reasonable excuse for him to vacation alone, something is fishy, very fishy. Koley anigu if I sense he is upto something, I will leave before he throws me out...body language and actions like wanting to go alone vacationing is a big red flag....are you kidding me

it's ok to let him go somewhere without u once in a while.
