Moqdisho is special city. It has everything a capital could ask. Port, nice weather and room to expand. I'd definitely do business there simply because there is no Somali city that can get even close. The city needs peace and strong police to guard their security and put lockdown on the few troublemakers that are ruining for everybody. I just hate the fact that there are 5000 bantu army who are there doing god knows what. From outside , it seems a city that's under colonization :wow:

Let's hope by 2015, a city with no outside forces guarding it and the security is under the government like it's in Garowe and Hargaysa

Couldn't care less about whose qabiil the mayor hails from, as long as there's security, less corruption (various armed forces including the SNA extort money from the businesses) and political stability.
MashaAllah bit by bit you're seeing the light. Be totally distant from the khawaarij ans continue to the new direction you're facing awoowe. :)

Mogadishu unfortunately is one of the biggest shit holes in all of Somalia but also has amenities you won't find else where yet. To be honest I think in terms of living standards as a whole other cities will improve faster than Xamar.

Xamar is highly overrated.

Ugandishu is yours now. In my opinion no d-block should ever set foot in Ugandishu knowing damn :damn: well that it's the same city where 1'000's of innocent d-block were killed mercilessly point blank. We got Puntland and Jubbaland keep Ugandishu to yourselves.

His are in fact the type most likely to slavishly return to Mogadishu on perpetual basis. You know the timid folks from his group that are always well behaved, living out of rented hotels & with the overly exaggerated chants of "Soomaaliya ha noolaata" "wadanka wuu hagaagey" & the other crap we are accustomed to hearing in Mogadishu only for them to return to the West & make disparaging comments about Mogadishu. The development & success of Mogadishu fundamentally pains them. This kid who has barely hit puberty might make these comments but we both know his relatives, if not his own family, are perpetually heading to Mogadishu in search of opportunities. That's why we should never miss a chance to taunt them in xamar. I know I don't

Twisted_Logic wrote:The purpose of this thread is to give the doubters & naysayers who have been consistently degrading & giving all sorts of mischievous labels to Mogadishu & it's people, a room to vent out their frustrations. The true motivation is jealousy & envy. They can't can't fathom how a city that has been a battleground for 23 long years is within the span of 2 years fundamentally transforming itself as one of the fastest growing urban centers in all of Africa with some of Africa's most valued properties. They look at the massive investments by foreign nations & companies in Mogadishu & it drives them to a point of instant depression.

Truth is these envious idiots were the same groups that used to label president Sh Sharif's 2009 historic trip to Turkey as "Sh Dalxiis" are bothered by Turkey's ensuing investments in Mogadishu where they are building some of Africa's best health facilities & infrastructures. It's not a topic motivated by any serious discussion b/c had it been one, the plights if disadvantaged peoples in the Jubba Valley like the Baajun would have been mentioned.

Forum movers from Mogadishu should enjoy the nervous breakdowns of these hateful bunch & bombard them with any & every images of Mogadishu's rapid developments so that they die of jealousy, envy & hatred. The sooner, the better!

mogadishu's progress actually benefits us. puntlanders and jubbalanders have many properties in mogadishu and with mogadishu's progress the value of those properties increase. for most jubbalanders and puntlanders who will rent out their properties, it seems to me, they'll be chilling in kismaayo or garowe or in the diaspora, while getting paid :D

Those who are so fond of Xamar seem to have a shallow grasp of what citizenship is.
Xamar is a USC vassal therefore its not for you. Its a foreign city as of now hopefully not later, i have hope.

Just 'cause I defended Xamar doesn't mean I'm no longer a khawaarij.
