We're are one of the homogenous groups in Africa - Somali's needs to expand- if Brits/French/Italians had never colonised us, we're probably have had multiple Somali's in Gambia to South Africa and in Arabia.

Listen fuckboy, there is such a thing as Bantu, and they are just as non-Somali as the Barwaani, Bajuunis and other non ethnic Somalis. The latter have obviously been hanging on to their languages but as do the Bantus of the Jubba who still speak their original language. Barwaniins being a coastal Omani-Swahili-Persian people have for a long time still been connected to their origins whilst obviously some Bantus being more interior and having always occupied a more lower social status now speak only Somali for the most part.

Somali is a ethnic group at the social, genetic, cultural, linguistic and phenotypical level. We are the definition of an ethnic group mate and those minority groups aren't and will never be Somali.

If it weren't for Somalia being named "Somalia", this confusion would've never happened and we wouldn't ever be having this conversation in the first place. I wish our country wasn't named Somalia sometimes wallahi. Nobody talks about Djibutian Afars being Somali and the Somali identity is clear over there, I bet if Djibouti was apart of Somalia though we would probably be considering them Somali as well lol You bet.
