If homosexuality is a sin why does me being a girl or 'man' matter? Homo = same. Homosexuality means liking your own gender and that can be male or female. Then again, you're making all your arguments (if we call them that) from a hetero normative position.

Why would I deny them? This isn't about homosexuality being a sin or homosexual acts being a sin but being homosexual and Muslim at the same time. How can a person commit sin if they're not even allowed to be part of the religion

You can commit gay acts in Islam and still be considered Muslim as long as you don't justify the sin. Once you start saying it's okay and halal then you fall into kufr, you don't even have to do the act to fall into kufr. The justification of it, is worst than the act itself.
