I still don't understand why would a city such as Galkyaco need two airports? Waste of money if Galmudug wants to be taken serious than atleast go after the current airport which is also located in South of the city.

I actually think that this is better for business. In Galkacyo, there are alternatives for every service. Every single industry is in competition with the other, and so prices are lower. Galmudug by building this airport, will give competition to A/Y airport leading to improved service there.

Reer Galkacyo know each other, there will never be war in the city.

this new airport oscha I think is the name is in the south its private owned by a person who opened it for business, the other gaalkacyo airport is in the north east outskirts of the city, its revenue is shared and no one has let it go.
