bro who is newcomer????...kkk...lol.
do you know the first fooq (double story) in hargeisa was owned by musa carre built in 1908, ilma jibril and was destroyed by the fagash. the oldest standing building and fooq in central hargeisa suuq is the 'fooqa mayatayn' built by gadhweyn hy guy in 1920. 2nd oldest standing building or fooq is the 'fooqa heego' built by another hy guy from oodweyne in 1930's, he even created a entire suuq called 'suuqa heegadha' opposite the khariyada in central hargeisa. the 3rd fooq was built by hassan rakubb a habarawal guy in the 1940's. the entire masjid 'cali mataan' area and suuqa waaheen was owned by ina xudar a hy guy from oodweyne in the late 1890's. fooqa reer ugaadh, ka haaji yusuf imaan which was former bangi somalia. & majid al'jamac grand mosque all built by hy in hargeisa between 1890-1960's. the suuqa shiraaqle which is bacadlessha and siribada waaheen was created by musa shiraaqle a hy isxaaq guy. hargeisa was built by a few hy wealthy livestock merchants and nuux ismail traders of berbera, with the exception of one ciise musa who was haaji ibraahim cigal, former president cigaal father who had two fooqas in the center.
what did the ciidgale, isxaaq and arab contribute to the city besides looking after livestock in saylada???...kkk...lol

one of the biggest landowners.

I don't need someone like
you to make me feel better about anything. Lol @ joking...you were schooled. Btw thank you SayyidUmar, I always appreciate mini-history lessons.
I feel no ways about my family moving to Hargeisa and doing what we do. We live well ahamdulillah and I wish the same for everyone else working hard. Hargeisa is a cosmopolitan city, and to be so qabiilist about the development by Somalis for Somalis is messed up.
What kind of donkey gloats about the success of others hahaha At least I don't walk around throwing names pretending to be someone that I only am by association/tribe. I can do the same, but what does that make me.
Here, hold this L.

your welcome.
what degans/town is your family from??? everybody in hargeisa comes from goboladda whither there family came in 1890 or 1930's, 1960's or 1990 & 2000's.
hargeisa has always been a cosmopolitan city, mixture of clans from galbeed, bari, guban, haud. in the late 1890 early 1900's upto 1960's most of the settlers and business community of hargeisa were hy merchants and nuux ismaail traders from berbera. in the late 1999 early 2000's most settlers and business community of hargeisa are HJ, ciise musa, reer samatar and jibril aboker of sacad musa. fact is the local ciidagle, isxaaq, and arap are clueless about business.
