you're coming from an emotional stand point, a place of wrong and right with out deliberating the realities of others. I advice you to examine all the facts, pros and cons, the circumstances of a lot women, young and old in different societies not just that of Somalis and then perhaps you will come to different understating.

there is no way...in any culture or circumstance that a man well into his 70s or even 50s marry a teenager...they are still children, you and i both know they are not ready for marriage and all the responsibility that comes with it. an in no world is it ever right to marry a child. anyone under 20 is pretty much a child still growing and learning about life, and their place in it, why subject them to a life long sentence....that is marriage at such a young age. i don't see how you don't get that, that is immoral. furthermore someone well into their 20s has the right to marry whoever, doesn't mean it is right. most people aren't attracted to a rotting corpse (an old man) so they only explanation would be that money was the motivation...still doesn't make it moral or right. anyways lets agree to disagree
