Jeffo are you trying to be demonstrative. In that, we all must walk the talk, not just pay lip service to change? :lupe: I must know...

nobody comes to the internet to engage with well-mannered people. this forum is good when all manner of opinion can be expressed.

Exactly! We must press for change and not sit idle. We must press on and not let this momentum die. We've had many threads deleted in the last couple of hours, we're bringing change!

I totally agree. Praxis - theory in practice is what we need. It seems to be happening rather quickly. It kind of reminds me of this Somali guy that was a classmate of my hooyo. He got up one morning and for no known reason he started running, he came across a group of runners and ran with them until he suffered a heart attack. Reason being, it was his first time and he had not trained. What are your suggestions so we don't lose steam like Mr. 1-day-marathon.

Does it need to change?

Nah.

I frequent Reddit, Whirlpool forums, Misc, Mac Rumours, City Data and 4chan to name a few and they got nothing on Snet. There's crazy shit on the Internet in general and I'd rate Snet low tier on the crazy scale if I'm being honest.

Dr Phil (as you all know) the famous and well known T.V icon/psychologist, experts and online discussions site that the MAIN reasons as to why trolls..... well troll is:

-Attention and recognition, even if negative.

-The emotional release of venting
Power (the power to disrupt).

-Vandalism.

-The thrill of breaking social conventions.

-Sabotaging groups the troll dislikes.

-Immaturity.

-Jealousy.

The only problem that Snet has is the multi-nickers. I just wish the MODS would delete these accounts and restrict all users to a single IP address. That's one thing that needs to change IMO.

-i propose that moderators be selected on a rotating basis .We have created warlords on the internet with the current policies
- i propose that topics that are controversial should not be deleted simply because they are unpopular
- i also propose that the site be upgraded, the site is currently in line with the country of Somalia, in terms of its lack of investment

-Siad Barre's picture should be the first picture seen when one visits the site

Don't make excuses saxib. If after Uncle Siad Barre, Somalia become a peaceful democracy, I would be the first to tell you Siad Barre was bad.
But today, with all the women getting raped in Yemen, Somali men getting killed in South Africa, Somali women being raped in Mogadishu by AU peacekeepers, and the yoyo kids in America and Europe:

you must conclude Somalia was in good hands when under Siad Barre's leadership.
