Naag ama nin arab eeh inuu alshabaab ku biiro waa habeenkii xalay oo tagay even if they share their extremism. What is the incentive?
Waxba jiira koleeyba i don't know where it is coming from for our youths to resort to selling their lives to the devil.
Isis naagaha wey gadaan amongst themselves but not before releasing their testasterone! Marka ma idhin latahay naag somali ku birtay ineey the exception to way they treat women noqoneyso?

Well here's this:

Authorities say a handful of Minnesota residents have traveled to Syria to fight with militants in the last year. At least one Minnesotan has died there. In addition,
at least 22 young Somali men have traveled from Minnesota to Somalia since 2007 to join the terrorist group al-Shabab

It's also crazy how people are looking at things in absolutes. Like these kids suddenly only see black and white and then are calling their own parents gaalo blatantly.
Most middle easterners study technical fields. the amount of engineers and doctors far exceed the numbers of writers, linguists, political scientists, philosophers, artists and musicians. The society will look at whoever study any of the aforementioned as a failure.
And that's okay, but perhaps there's an increased correlation between a lack of sufficient knowledge with regards to qualitative analysis that leads the quantitatively-inclined folks to picture the world in absolutes (ie. much like a mathematical equation with only one solution, or a limited defined set of solutions).

I'm sorry. No Arab Girls born/raised in the West were going to Somalia to go join up with some Faarax terrorists. On the flip side, plenty of cases of Somali girls going to Syria/Iraaq to be a wife for some Arab Hoodlum. Same with the dumbo boys who flock there to pick up kabaha for some Arab Nacas in Syria/Iraq.

Al-Shabaab and ISIS are apple and oranges. You can't compare the two. Al-Shabaab is a regional extremist group, whilst ISIS are claiming a international Muslim Caliphate. You don't see Somali girls joining regional terror groups like Taliban, Boko-Haram or the ones in Libya, Yemen and parts of Syria such us Free Syria or Al-Nusr.
I've heard plenty of nationalities joining ISIS, not just Somali girls. There are Arabs, Pakistanis, Blacks, White and other Asians. Also most of the Somalis that join ISIS are mainly from abroad. Somalis from Somalia rarely join these groups, I think roughly 70 Somalis from Somalia joined ISIS, compared to other countries we are a minority. Even the Somalis from abroad are a minority in ISIS ranks whether they girls or boys. I think Somalis have been campaigning very well against extremist groups. There are less and less Somalis that sympathise with these sort of groups. Even AL-Shabaab supporters have significantly decreased in the past years.

This is interesting Fah and it makes so much sense. Of all the articles I read about this issue, I never came across anyone with similar outlook.

Yeah, its something that popped up in my mind when I was thinking about the situation. Especially with how Arabs specifically are using Islam as a means to cope with political situations.

Hamza Yusuf has been saying this for awhile, so has people like Seyyed Hassan Nasr who has been saying for even longer, you should what he says about Saudi Arabia.

Exactly.
Not to mention loads of Ajanabis tried entering Somalia to join Al-Shabaab but were detained. Non-Somalis, who are Muslims, who aren't in NGOs travelling to Somalia are a huge red flag.
