Oxidant, I don't know if you've been in one city/country your whole life, but more often than not, when you experience different customs, mentalities, environments, political and economic situations you have a better appreciation for your life as well as others'. One's tolerance of trivial matters skyrocket, thus making you less petty and argumentative. Most guys I met who didn't travel had a very limited outlook on ideas and a lot of their opinions were based on things they've never even seen or interacted with. They could be steadfast with ideas, but when push came to shove, they didn't really know how to apply them.

The three items I mentioned have (in my experience) given men a greatness that I admire and respect. Even if I don't always agree with the resulting opinions

I think it comes down to money. You will notice a girl say an older man would give her security. That is code word for he can take care of me financially. That's the traditional view of gender responsibilities and one that many still hold

In contrast a young man in his 20's probably can't afford to look after a family and I think that plays into the attraction to older women

I think every coming of age boy has had a crush on a older lady, I remember day dreaming about this 20 something year old xaliimo as a 8-10 year old. I would fantasize about her taking me in her car, going to restaurants and long walks on the beach. I can still smell the perfume she wore and her smile ooooo lawd.

Uncharted territory, I could never get somali older women's serious attention, humans love what they can't have like breaking the barrier of social taboos and this grandma (btw in her early 40s) lol'ed at my jokes and commented back. I started getting flashbacks of my childhood. I think the experience awoken my inner second childhood.

That's interesting. That is probably one of the biggest taboos in Somali culture when it comes to marriage. The female even if she were attracted to you and turns out had never been married could never entertain the thought

If the particular older woman is a bit on the wealthier side, then yes. If they are smarter and more sophisticated. I find younger women annoying and very dumb.

However, if you are just into older women in general then I think you have mummy issues.

For women, I can understand why they would be attracted to older men. Maybe more financial security and maturity. But remember, older men don't look like Denzel Washington or George Clooney if that's what you are imagining.

That research is bullshit, men don't like older women.
