According to SNET relationship expert (BV), people need to live together for 3 months before the aroos (wedding)

What's up with you CaliQase, you need to get on with the program!

No Probation for me man. Ilaa waxaynu soo sabrayay kacsi laboodkiiye ma wax kalaa lagu dari karaa sxb
One of the trick is take a deep sleep during the day before the wedding, be up during the wedding,, and get busy right afterwards. You just wear your night-vision goggles and take it from there!
Maalinta hore in la kala tuuro ayay ku macdahay sxb. Habeenka lamaanaha cusub ayaa iska leh. Iyagu ha is ceyrsadaan caawoo dhan.

Went to a wedding in December 2013

This Ethiopian girl and African American guy I both know from school.

Their wedding was on point.

The food was amazing. Like AMAZING. The MC kept the program moving. It was all smooth. Probably the best wedding I've been to outside of my aunt's about 8.5 years ago.

I blame Somali women. They have this saying " Aduunka hal habeen baan ku leeyahay, habeenka arooskayga". They also believe small wedding =Single mother. Meaning someone who already has had previously lavish wedding can settle for such.

It is all bullshit
I've seen it all Ina Adeer, dad markii la yidhaahdo kaniisad baa bixineeysaa subsidised apartments, 400 of them attend and fight over the que, the police are called and disperse them, then they spend 10's of thousand $$$ on a wedding. Caqli lix saac baanu noqonney.

I agree man, don't like the attention and craziness either. I'd prefer to get the nikah done and take her to the crib :?

Exactly. Why blow racks on racks on racks on some stupid party that will have some terrible karaoke singer(s), and will be filled with angry single moms ready to give you and your wife the evil eye

The saying has pressured many girls who didnt want a wedding into one.

In saying that nothing wrong with celebrating a beautiful occasion with family and close friends. I wouldn't want randoms coming to my wedding though. Eat your food & talk shit about you and your event.
