Did you fail geography? North indicates direction. It's not something Somaliland has ownership over and it's a fact that Bosaso is more northern than 99% of Somaliland, including every major city and town in Somaliland.

How can one be culturally, socially, politically and economically a direction? I hope you're trolling for you're own sake because you sound more and more retarded with each post.

In all fairness, DiraDhabe, Jigjiga and Garissa are regional capitals
to their respectful countries.

Dira Dhabe is the chartered city in it's own within Ethiopia.
Jigjiga is the capital of the Somali region in Ethiopia.
Garissa is the capital of Garissa county/NFD in Kenya.

All these towns have access to much more budget and opportunities for growth than all
Somali towns in Somalia/Somaliland (except may be for Xamar) It's not fair to compare
regional capitals of other countries to Burco which have been demolished just 25 years ago
and it's a town in a unrecognized country. I think its more appropriate if Burco is only compared to other
Somali towns within Somalia.

That being said, even the largest of these towns
is only 30% bigger than Burco, which I think is quite impressive
for a town where most of it's residents are nomads.

Same argument could be made about Djibouti too.
