awahab, the whole problem stems from our inability to deal with term violators consistently. When one of us tries to clean things up, ppl gang up on him and start hateful posts messages. Many times, we let those topics stay till they die out on their own. I don't see why somebody's ban should be explained to everyone else. We both know that LJ does more work than most of us combined and he is now hated by many. It was like that when nabs was more active and before her ppl hated screw. You do more moderation and term violators will hate u.

The reason I closed the last thread with over 80 posts and started this this one is to put the ball down so that the mods and regular members can exchange views constructively.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I also find it offensive when Lamagoodle tries to speak on behalf of non-Salafi Muslims. If you don't agree with his religious views he will deem you a kaligii Muslim Takfiri Salafi and maybe even bless you with a ban. Wtf.

Don't get me started on the...salafi/wahabi/takfiri argument. It use to be yalaxow's favourite tool but the rest also decided to give more weight tobthe slogan.

Are you serious? What's the point of having rules on this forum when mods can ban people on a whim and we're not allowed to question it? If mods don't have anything to hide, they should tell us why someone was banned ( what rules they broke). Members don't even get a warning anymore, they just get banned.


I'm not surprised that the mods have a dictator mentality when you have the same attitude. You're definitely not genuine about fixing the issues on this forum and if Lamagoodle isn't removed, you won't have a forum to moderate.

The attitude displayed by Waryaa and his minions is a perfect example of why Somalia is so fucked up.

This "you can't question us" attitude isn't the way to run a forum. Take a look at Reddit. Users revolted after changes were made on the site that banned certain topics and a Senior moderator they liked was fired/removed. In the end, the CEO had to resign.

It started with the firing of a longtime employee, escalated into a mutinous display of solidarity, and ultimately ended with Pao's resignation. Reddit's users — the site's heart and guts — effectively brought one the biggest properties on the internet to standstill.

Reddit, one of the 10 websites in the world, listened to the complaints of its users but Waryaa is on here asking why moderators should explain WHY a member is banned. There are no checks and balances to prevent abuse of power by the mods and he wants to ask how we dare question his moderators?

Plain and simple, if Lama remains a mod and Solidcamel, Kaafiye, Udun and Nomad are not unbanned, this forum will lose many members.

There is no US and the single person to blame for all the havoc is yourself Mr. Waryaa. We have appealed to you on numerous times over this past year raising issues of abuse by the likes of lamagoodle and lejusticier and you deliberately ignored each plea. More than 5 members have reached out to you and FAH and no avail! I myself PMed you on several occasions and each time you acted as though you had no idea what was going on which is very hard to believe.

Members get banned for defending their religion while members who disrespect our religion, our prophet, and our God are encouraged and praised. Such members include leftist and many others and they are still here while members who did nothing were banned. Lamagoodle accuses members that he doesn't like of character assassination when he is the only MOD who uses name calling on members. He calls people "kaligii muslim" which is offensive but then comes back and tells us you will be banned if you call an atheist and atheist. Where is the logic in that?

In all in all you are entirely at fault for neglecting to implement a system of checks and balances. While others might be deceived by your little thread here making it seem like you are listening to people... I know well how you think. You and lamagoodle and lejusticier are the same..they ban people who put them on check because they don't like the challenge and you turn a blind eye to their misuse of power even when prompted to do something.
