Do Somali arranged marriages exist at this point? I have yet to see someone in an arranged marriage. Even parents. I mostly hear about grandparents being in them. I don't think it's possible to do arranged marriage in this day and age as most Somali girls i know and hear of marry who they want, even if it's against their parents wishes

They are more likely to work out. Hoyo tried to hook me up with a girl a few years ago but I wasn't having it. Personally I wanna find my own spouse, but I guess I'd be open to an arranged meeting with a girl now

Introducing a prospective suitor to another person that is looking to get married is different from an arranged marriage. An arranged marriage in its traditional sense isn't practiced as frequently in our community.
