Godane may have said things or may have had his own views on how to better SL but in the end he did not harm his family.

We all have ideas on how to rule better. For example I dismiss recognition and believe in the classical creation of nations that one should command his own horse.

his focus was in the south on the "christian crusaders", even al qaeda told shabaab to not engage local administrations unless provoked, plus attacking somaliland wouldn't make much of a political statement atm. but eventually the "apostate regimes",. would have to been overthrown.
