Its funny Somalis based their allegiance most of the time based on their emotions or on their own tummy Osob, some of them have this hatred incurable hatred for Arabs which led them love the Zionist, others just go with the highest bidder. Others just love to follow what ever the arabs do if arabs cut ties with Iran than Somalia has to do that to if arabs hate Israel than Somalis have to hate israel to. No critical thinking what is in the interest of Somalis, iam not saying israel is good or bad or arabs are good or bad i am saying just follow ur interest and dont subordinate ur foreign policy because of others just follow ur own path.

Iran issue was a mistake and Somali government should have address in a better degree but you dont correct a wrong with a wrong. Arabs are Some times bad but are Somalis. No society is perfect if we really should be befrinding and focusing our view in distrust and evils than we should targey Ethiopia and Kenya. Palestinian dont harm us and there is no reason for us to screw them ever just because Some Arabs do.

The shameful thing about it is dispensing your support in equivalence to who gives you more money . I use to think in those terms as well and something not particular to the somalis , but it is not the noble thing to do .
The goal here would be to not side with one camp or the other . Because you're friend with arabs shouldn't automatically make you an enemy of Israel . You should act as bridge between opposing groups . For political reasons the president of Somalia cannot do it , we know that , but talking on the phone is okay .
What does Israel want in Africa ? They want more support at the UN or should I say less opposition in order to counterbalance the overwhelming pro palestinian position of the African Union . What can the president of Somalia do in that regard ? Well a phone conversation means " I cannot outright support you like Uganda , Kenya or Ethiopia ...but I'm not gonna stand in your way ".
Israel wants to be an observing member of the AU like the Palestinians . Latvia , Ukraine are observing members at the AU , the fact that I like Netanyahu or not is irrelevant . There's a difference between who you favor or who has a legitimate claim in this business . I think the Israelis due to their history in Africa do have a pertinent case

Also to those saying Fuck the Arabs can go fuck themselves because am witness to the amount and charity the Arabs do in Somalia and people hate us would have never done such things so you all sitting in Welfare supported house can go fuck themselves and stick with your yahuud brothers and sisters

Dear Osob,
You allegedly "working" in the green zone, doesn't confirm nor deny that Hassan sheikh travelled. Every frickin citizen in Hamar knows when he's travelling because he CLOSES ALL THE ROADS. I was there last summer so I would know.
People who work in the green zone refers to it as Xalane.
Only someone in the diaspora who has read or heard about about this area would call their work place the "green zone"
Sorry but but your lingo is giving you away.

Let us work with our Jewish partners, they are few in the world and support each other, we are in the few in the world and don't support each other.

You never heard of the Financial Times? It's from their report on Turkey
You work for the German Govt but have access to the yearly budget of the the Somali govt. How does that work lol? Btw aid does not only = cash given directly. It can also be in kind which is what Turkey does for example. You probably wouldn't see that on the govt budget.
In any case that's neither here nor there...you have to have an objective foreign policy based on national interest. I don't give a fuck about Israel or being buddies with them. But you cannot base international relationships on ''Arabs are our friends''. For example, boycotting or sanctioning a country requires collective action. The EU sanctions Russia collectively...The West sanctions Iran collectively. A sanction of Israel would require collective actions from the Arab League but as I have shown you this is not the case as every single Arab country dealing with them and some are close to establishing formal diplomatic ties with them. They are all furthering their own foreign policy objectives. What sense would it make for a poor African country to unilaterally boycott Israel and further isolate itself?
SahanGalbeed touched on what I am trying to say.

You Landers love Somali politics. You try to pretend that your regional politics is more interesting but we all know the truth. You're always in the mix.

The whole area is called Halane, there's subsections like the SKA area and etc, but yeah okay. Tell us more.. As you have the "inside" information? Hassan sheikh flying anytime soon again?
Ps. When the president leaves, the foreign staff in Halane or Green zone as you like to call it, don't have anything to do with it. But well well..
