Smooth so what is the game plan for the Iljeex besides rooting for Sharif Ahmed? Why can't they unit behind 1 Iljeex candidate? Have they lost confidence to field a successful candidate?

The reasons are simple, it's a reactive approach not proactive as you stated before, Shariif political group simply sold them the true fears of a situation of a MJ president, D&M PM and DIR speaker which at this moment looks very likely due to HSM gross negligence having sidelined DIR and much of HAG to the benefit of PL

Getting behind any other HG leader that's running is fruitless because they virtually stand no chance of even progressing into the second round, it's basically a wasted vote, a lot of this has to do with historical hatred, particularly the brainless strategy lacking campaign in the 90's by Caydiid and Co of virtually fighting every other clan (despite being unjustly provoked most of the time) going in to Kenya etc. instead of focusing on allegiances, consolidating power and ruling etc.

That legacy is still fresh in everyone's mind and the fact that the clan itself is divided with no strategy or vision compounds things further, how you going to unite the nation when your own clan itself is divided? the same goes for the fast majority of other Somali clan's. Those HG leaders running are a disgrace and their focus is misplaced, Abdiqasim is a perfect example.

Don't give my rer Abti magical powers! They are just a tad bit more devious and pursue their interests above Jebertism, Somalinimo or Islamnimo. They are pragmatic but sometimes their qiyaano backfires on them.

This is a false perception and conclusion some people draw based on the fact I focus on them more, a united people will always triumph politically over a group that has no unity, this is historical fact

The only reason they are united more so then the rest of the Somali's has nothing to do with intellect or smartness as the foolish perceive, they have an effective rallying cry that we all lack, the boogie man narrative whenever there is internal discord or rifts, the same way how the Armenian's evoke Ottoman genocide to keep unity and dissent at bay.

Their boogie man narrative is HG, for centuries Karbaash after Karbaash, having been driven from much of were they historically lived all the way to Bari is fresh (by just Iljeex), the Italian's halted the massacres by introducing the green line in Gaalkacayo to halt the mass forced migrations.

The Isaaq have a similar more recent rallying cry about Afweyne, no such rallying cry for us, we won virtually every single conflict to this date, the boogie-man story to stifle disunity and discontent doesn't exist for us, the arrogance when I went back few months ago is at epic proportions, they believe they are invisible, a similar karbaash is needed to create the shock and awe first which will lead to a compelling boogie man narrative people can buy as a rallying call like those other two clan's have, this fear doesn't exist for us.

When you all were bootyclapping for Sharif Ahmed, I asked why? When you rejoiced for Hasan Sheikh in his duals with Faroole, I asked why? What did both do for the Iljeex? NothING yet these two bent over backwards to please PL with Hasan Sheik going as far to fly them weapons that ended up being used against Galmudug

I agree but I do not entirely blame Shariif for the airport fiasco, there was no one from tolka lobbying, in fact Caalin was present Garowe 1/2 and none of them spoke out when Shariif made the initial intention first, this is literally what he told us when we met him 2 years ago, he was entirely clueless on the whole history.

HSM did not send them any weapons, the UAE (cancer in Somalia) wanted to directly offload the weapons to Bosaaso but HSM for political point scoring stopped it and forced it to redirect to Mogadishu from UAE which they complied with, he exercised the little authority he has and was not responsible for this, he doesn't even have the ability to liberate ceeldheere or send troops there.

Hawiye jeceel is a losing strategy ask Caydiid. If he had agreed to a political compromise with AY in 1996 his dowlad would have taken off but he let his Hawiye jeceyl and MJ paranoia influence his decisions.
Until Iljeex stop being short term thinking and unite they will be left out in the political wilderness.

I have said this several times on here, it was a catastrophic ugly mistake from Caydiid, C/Yusuf was happy with being PM, he virtually went against the whole Jaberti consensus for his Kursi Jeceeyl and promised to forcefully bring them all to the table, that offer came twice not just in 1996, he even went further and tried to make Iljeex part of Puntland at it's formation promising important posts against consensus which was again refused.

Iljeex union alone won't get us anywhere, they are currently the most united that I have seen in decades along with saleeban but it's fragile, this needs to be a lot bigger then that, at this moment in time we have a powerful lobbying group of business man despite them being divided as well in regards to interest, money talks sxb, Gaajo and an almighty Karbaash is required to awake the masses and I cannot see any group that can effectively deliver this karbaash.

Mark my words, the big awakening will come once CC wins and implements Faroole/Gaas road map to reclaim back Booli Qaran neighbourhoods Afweyne shelled to the ground in Xamar and were mostly rebuilt from scratch by HG businessman and ordinary people, massive plots of land in Hodan, Wardhiigley with the most expensive real estates, their eyes are set on them and I had been warning tolka for several years now.
