Too late for Akisha, Jaarso, and Gurgura to claim Somali. They voted to be in Oromia Kilil, and Oromos want to expand further toward Somali kilil. war is not the answer this time between Somali and Oromo, we have bigger fish to fry.

Waachis wrote: Wed Sep 13, 2017 12:24 pm I agree with everything except Oromo expanding. Why would we want to take your land when you just said Somalis are experts at expanding and taking land from others. Look at how the brave afar have to resist the illegal issa Somali expansion. You guys already have the most land too.
We WERE experts in land grabbing and EARNED the largest territory that a single ethnic group could posses in Africa. The British described us nimble and warlike and for sure ,we would have dislodged many many ethnic groups if it wasnt the intervention of the European colonialists. Similarly ,Our Oromo cousins rapidly expanded in the 17th century and almost dominated all Ethiopian ethnic groups. That's a tale of the past. Both of our communities were skillful land grabbers back then though we were second to none .By the way ,land expansion was noble and justifiable centuries ago but in the world of 2017 it is silly and barbaric beyond measure.

I strongly urge both communities to respect the current borders and should peacefully share the disputed border towns.
nobody cares lol. The world will move on while you lack behind in thinking. The world doesnt give a crap about somali tribal issues, nations will become more intelligent and move without somali its not needed.
I just revisited the great Somali and Oromo Expansion centuries a go. That's a bit of history.l also remained my fellow Oromo snetter that land grabbing and expansionist mindset is a thing of the past and it will only create a deadly conflict between Somali and Oromo will only benefit the Habesha who want to control the cushitic masses with the divide and rule policy.Deescalation and peaceful coexistence in border towns is the best solution for both communities.

Otherwise ,I don't get much of what you are trying to say

I am so sad to say this but they are harvesting what they sow. Look nowhere else than S/net-S/landers praising here Oromos, as their long-lost brothers and what happened? I repeated time and time again, given the chance, Oromos would eradicate ethnic Somalis from the region. Their claim is not only contained in Kilil5 but Hargeisa and Berbera as well. Mark my words you shall see the real Oromo when in power. Time will tell.

Tplf officials attacked Somalis in awaday but Oromo elders and youth intervened.
Oromo and Somali elders are in negotiations too.
The vast majority of the Oromo who border Somalis are Muslim, the same clans who fought for Ahmed gurey.
Naah they were Oromos and Oromo Kilil officials displacing Somalis in the Oromia and takinf their lands.

The Ittu Oromos are not Gaaloa.

Oromos are all the same I dont rrust them they hate Somalia more than TPLF.Bw it OPDO or OLF they are same shit different assholes.

can you prove it? cause as i told my somali friends, walahi, i would side with YOU guys, if this indeed happened.
i am not a righteous Muslim, but i never support the oppressors, and oppression is very serious, Allah said he made oppression haraam for HIMSELF AS THE LORD OF THE WORLDS, SO WHO ARE WE AS HUMANS TO ENGAGE IN IT?
but i would love to see somalis condemning their government officials for killing, raping, and displacing oromo civilians too.
it takes two to tango, it takes two to fight.

do not pretend as if somalis are innocent in anything. no side is innocent. both sides have idiots.
it's just that, the somalis have willingly worked with tplf, to kill, displace, and hunt down oromos.
somalis are still in oromia, in peace, if we were savages, that would not be the case.
and we are not like your abdi-tigray-iley, who works against his own people, and his neighbors, for the sake of tigray, who does not even border you, and they can easily run away as you fight oromos for no god damn reason.
somalis are being very emotional and falling for the propaganda, which is sad. may Allah open your eyes.
we have no claims to any land outside of what is ours, and do not forget, somalis expanded the most in east african history, not oromos.
somalis are more known for taking land than anyone in east africa, and are the only ones still expanding (issas stealing afar lands).
not only that, oromos welcomed you when you were weak in numbers, ask the darood who know their history.
when we could've massacred darood when they were weak, numerically, instead we said ''welcome our brothers, our grass is your grass.''

Some little facts, they burnt hawyie 'S home and forced them to register as Oromo and those who refused were forced to move to Afar area. Second, the majority of Ethiopian soldiers in south Somalia are Oromo who raped and killed your people.

We wouldn't believe your crocodile tears but we see it with our own eyes your Oromo soldiers in south. You killed and raped Somali women even during the Ramadan in south west state. Hanged old men and killed elders inside mosques last summer.

Waachis, don't mislead the S/netters here, I know very well what Oromos are up to. Even Gurage merchants were slaughtered for defying the orders of Jowhar (ONO exile) to shut down their businesses, also Somalis were killed for the same reason.
Isn't the name "Hargeisa" derived from afan Oromo (Oromo language) as you believe, and it belongs to you.
weren't Gurgura and Akisha denied to claim their Somaliness?
Oromos have been harassing their minority neighbours since EPRDF comes to power. If they want to fight why not direct it to EPRDF rather than the poor civilians living, or travelling in Oromia Kilil? If Oromos has a thing with Abdi-iley they know where he is.
