All I'm saying is the policy of non engagement and thinking the international community will recognise us is ridiculous that is a dream land. We are at war darood just don't have a cidan to contend with us they've tried and failed. The war is propoganda and political now and we have to get our hands dirty.Khalid Ali wrote: Mon Jun 24, 2019 11:03 pm Bendover said it all Somaliland it's independence it's struggle for rerecogntion it's very existence came with a heavy price under circumstance will the sadaat nation be under walanweyn warrawarood and others in the south we have known these people. There is no benefit of Somaliland to share anything with walanweyns jabartis. So such defeatist post is useless really sxb This debate of wanting the capital we don't want anything from Somalia. There won't be any talks the next decade.

Eventually the sl regime will have to positively engage with the South.....there is no other way.
Events are constantly changing while sl is stuck on stupid.

Re: Cross roads for somaliland
What has engaging with Somalia done for Puntland?
What these faqash can not deny is that Somaliland is stronger today than at any other point in its history. No Somali administration comes close.
The opposite can be said about Somalia, it is facing opposition from its own federal states, Al Shabab, neighbouring states like Kenya. It is under actual occupation by AMISOM. Its territorial waters and land are up for grabs.
The entire cheeseman's operation is so desperately dependent on goodwill of international community, that is the weakest position of any entity in the region.
A single press statement by the UN or US/EU can completely destroy the cheeseman, and force him to flee the country.

I'm not saying we have to join Somalia I'm saying it's an option on the table. Whatever we do we need to start a war. Waa inu diiga qulqulo. This peace is a problem for somaliland the international community are not pressed to do something about the situation they just create false hope while they try to rebuild Somalia and keep up there. Personally I think we should annex puntland then start talking about power sharing with hawiye. This will make majeerteen squeel and they'll choose to let go of somaliland rather than being dominated like that.

Re: Cross roads for somaliland
Whether its yourself or others, you are all failing to answer simple questions.
Puntland is already engaging with Somalia and is fully part of their system, what has that done for them?
Is Somaliland stronger today than it was 1 year/5 years/10 years ago or not?
Is Somalia not controlling even less territory than it did 1 year ago? With the distinct possibility of losing even more?
Simple questions dealing with the reality on the ground, not what ifs.

Seein the rats congregate and discuss strategies is hilarious
What will you do when we urge Awdal and Khatuumo to openly fight you?
We will destroy you from inside, i dont care about Isaaq one bit. I knew the day we bombed them unity was over. However your langaab clan is a sandwitch between dhulbahante and Awdal. This means once we pacify the south, these waqooyi communities that have good memories from Mareexan rule will put up the blue flag freely!
You will massacre them and farmaajo will invade the triangle and claims its to save dhulbahante and awdal from genocide. We will be heroes in the south and NORTH.
We dont give a fuck about isaaq, but our northern people will make sure you are going nowhere

Who's saying we want to be like puntland. I'm either saying we have to cause disastrous war that will force Somalia to capitulate and the international community to do something to stop the blood or we have to take the capital and monopolise power. Sitting and doing nothing and having diaspora who's native tulo is occupied by Al shabaab sitting in a capital city held by foriegn troops making silly statement and doing whatever little they can to politically isolate somaliland.
