I remember reading on this site not long ago someone claiming that duduble don’t need to fight at all as they can afford to hire mercenary’s which I agree with . I was reading also how they (d&m) refused I think a district formula for the new election which significantly under represents them. Fertile land, ports, huge population, significant xamar population. They will be a force to be reckoned with in the not so distant future.
I think Hawiye either will join in collaboration or be their main rivals. Daroods have two mamuls. We're good.

You are right there is no historical connection between hiiraan and the shabeeles. Hiirshaable will probably fail. Puntland is majerteen, jubbaland is marehan and a few ogadeen.
Hiiraan itself no one knows who is the majority let alone a host of other qabil in shabeele.
Galmudug I don't know there are a lot of clans there that don't see eye to eye. You have sacad and salaybaan at each others throats, mursade and dir not happy with their representation. Marehan might just walk off.
South west state is rahanweyn majority and it will succeed.
I think the next 5 years will show us which states will survive.
