Rashid Abdi, you are NOT an "educator," Sir. You forfeited & gravely injured a star inflight. Critique is what you need.

Are you depressed bro? A lot of the attempts at shocking behavior here has been explained by battles with depression and other psycho-emotional illnesses prevalent yet ignored in our culture. You know if you requested to see a therapist, that knowledge only exists between you and your provider.

If you are not depressed, maybe there are other underlying issues that explain numbness.

You should still see a therapist.

Kush, Balwarama, Sauran, Imam Ahmed, Zidane, Zumale, Xildiid, it is all running into each other at this point.

Identity is a most precious thing, Kush. Somehow you have been made to feel alienated and I want no part in it.

You are showing Phonetic mix up. There js5;

1. Gerri (Jigjiga)--- "Giraffe"/tall

2. Garre (Mandera) ---Bearded/Justice

And then there is what I am talking about here

3. Gurri (Marehan) ---Homestead/Settlers

4. Gurre (Dir) ---- Forage/Grazers

Have you never come across the Gurre Sbashi?

I have met a Gurre who speaks Afaan-Oromo as well and has family in Nageyle and Dirir Dhaba.

They have a fair skin most of them, like Rashid Abdi, which is also a feature in the Marehan/Reer Gurri---significantly lighter than most Somalis in southern Ethiopia who are all a deep shade of mahogany like Karanle amd Ajuuraan.

They are the 2nd largest group of Deka-Suftu after Marehan and they are the majority of Qarsaduulaa woreda of Afdheer immediately to the north of Deka Suftu.

Gubbet you are right. There's gurre and i always assumed they were just a group part of garre since they live with garre and have similar names. I haven't seen any hate from this group in dheeka or libaan.

I also want to speak about your other point of boran and islam. Do you know there's a good percentage of boran who are muslims? They are numerous enough that mx in libaan talk about the boran gaalo and boran muslims. An anecdotal example is the family occupying the house of our ugaas in nageyle. They are muslim borans. So rashid can't be excluded from being boran simply because he has an islamic background. After centuries of fighting i'm here to tell you that mx succeeded in making many of them become muslims.
