 actually i lived in Somalia only 13 years and now im 40 year old also in arabaha my family were مقاولين we were not the typical Xamaalis we worked with many nationalities.

In Saudi Arabia there is an army loyal to the tribal sheikhs. Every young man from these tribes receives a monthly salary without being in the service and they pay them through the sheikh of the tribe. They are required to protect the kingdom when there it is in danger.
Ibn Salman changed the policy of the kingdom under the modernization of the kingdom. First, he got rid of the royal family and imprisoned their princes so he can be an absolute ruler and now he gets rid of the tribal army. he follows Trump and there is Saudization of jobs and half a million Yemenis were deported from the kingdom under him but all of this at the end is a danger to Saudi Arabia.

You only hear about the royal family but there is a tribal alliance that rules Saudi Arabia like the ala Sheikh who have religious police and the official scholars. Emirates is an alliance of 7 ruling tribes. that why i support giving autonomy to the tribes in Somalia. real qabiilists say qabiilka hala duugo.

i explained here the tribal Gulf alliances. why Bahran, Kuwait and Saudia Arabia have very close relations, Al qasimis of UAE and Oman, Qatar of banu Tamim and the Ala Sheikh of Saudi Arabia who are banu Tamim despite the current hostility between Saudi Arabia and Qatar over Muslim brotherhood.

Peace before anything, to get there, the first priority of the government should have been eliminating Al-shabab. Farmers can't work on their farms, youngesters can't live and work in their cities without Al-shabab giving them the choices of joining them or being slaughtered.

After years of squabbles and lack of government focusing onthe right priorities, it seems we're going back to square one. Now, of all time, Somalis, should have to remove the wannabe dictator at whatever cost.
some of you are comparing corruption with dictatorship. Corruptions are still prevalent in developled countries (though accountabilty exists). It was few years ago, the UK has had MPs expenses scandal, America is not immune as well.

Dictatorship is what has created this mess at the first place, and way much more harmful than corruption as it combines both. You don't even have a chance to complain let alone stop it.

The whole thing is a mess.
It is really disappointing that we have politicians of such low calibre.

I can't see no way out from dysfunction........every year thousands die because there is no functioning state.

This visit will decide whether or not Rooble will run for the presidency depends on the UAE's support for him. If it does not support him, he will back a local ally from Galmudug. Xildhibaanadiisa waa heestaa.
