Basra. I went to bed after I posted the last piece. What nerve? Most of the sijuis are parasites. I don't see how Hawiye fits in this discussion unless you are suffering from hawiye-mania.

Tell me Basra, what specifically did Hawiye do to you?

Coolman, subxaanahal! Let us see ; you were in a mosque praying: and all you could come and think of was an old abgaal man? That says alot!

What did Hawiyes do to the sijuis???????? Please answer this question

I see a trend among somalis ; they cannot differentiate between what they wrote on their application papers (Hawiyes are these and that) and what their real experience is.

Most hawiyes claimed to be darood. Some somali's who aren't hawiye claimed that they were being killed and persecuted on a personal level by hawiyes ( won't name names Laughing but you know who you are) Thats how we are all here in a place called wyoming.

Unclebin, you did not get my point: Somalis from somalia never denounce their ethnicity. They remain somalis. Sijuis and Djiboutians did this to attain asylum- once granted they are sijuis and djiboutians.

Our friend coolman is an example; Here we have a person claiming to be a sijui, a non qabiliste who says he is proud to be a somali kenyan- free from tribal prejudices yet he through his writings in this thread, a tribalist sijui emerges (he thinks of hawiyes in mosques).

I undertand what your saying. i know of some people who are kanyatti bajuni's and they claim they were bajuni's from kismayo to get to canada. Once they got here they said thank you somalia and fukk you at the same time. However not all sijui arem like that. I have a sijui in law and she has learned somali from scratch and feels she is a somali and a kenyatti at the same time. A best of both worlds wouldn't you say?

@ HE THINKS OF HAWIYE IN THE MOSQUES Laughing

bro, dont twist it to make it appear as if i think of nating else but hawiyes in the mosque Laughing istaqfurlullah.

like i said. i was very bored earlier in the morning yesterday and went to check the Snet jokes section. i stumbled into the above joke and since you n i were discussing hawiye/sijuu b4 i went to maQrib prayer, the joke cropped into my mind. thats all.

I am a proud somali kenyan, born, bred, schooled etc etc in kenya. i don't know why this bothers you Confused . if you have met some somalis from kenya disowning their somalinimo, thats their prerogative not mine.

Caydid

if its between us skinnies then know, i aint a somali to you but a djiboutian, first and foremost. born and bread in djibouty am more proud of my birthplace than been a somali. sikinnies from somali/land are so focking narow minded they think they are more of a somali than the rest; but what did you "pure" somalis have done for somalia or the somali nation that is so precious you felt the need to make such thread?

i cant speak for sijuis but when it comes to somalis in djibouty and and those in somalia then there aint no comparison my friend. is ussualy those who are so obsessed with somalinimo that have done more damage to the somali identity than those your pointing the finger on. whenever there is famine and starvation in somalia, its somalis from somalia that are more-likely to deny their somali identity and claim something they aint just to distance themselves from those skeletons on tv.

where are the rest of the djiboutians in this site? there cant be just me and the Don-Of-Djibouty.

one thing i dont like about the somalis in djibouty, particularly the isaq is that, ever since somaliland became seperate lots of them try to cut all ties with djibouty and claim somalilanders nonsense (no offence to the sentitive souls Smile . i hear lots of djiboutians who get the hump when they hear an isaq man like moi still introduce himself as djiboutian. as if the birth of somaliland should put an end to all links i have with djibouty.

but then i guess, somalinimo means different things to different people; hatred, ignorance and qabyaalad is some people's idea of what it is to be a true somali.

We djiboutians dont ever hate but just try to appreciate our fellow savage skinny with all their faults and shortcomings!
