[quote="DerbiJiiF"]Ceelgaabo Good point.

The thing is that somalis like to be associated with the beauty. I have heard so many times people calling none-somalis ( this got to be a somali) becuase of the looks. We like to be associated with ligh skinned people, and distance themselves the dark, and none good looking people.

Usually I guess it is some sort of inferiority complex that somalis suffer.

In my opinion, somalis are africans and black, and thus they should reflect themselves as blacks rather than fantasizing.

It is Xaraam for an ajnabi male to see your hair, a Muslimah lady should always cover their hair. You are breaking etiquette of Xijaab.

Somalis come in all shapes, shades, forms and sizes. We are all black and Africans and we should be proud of it. As soon as I finish this post, I'm invited to join and have lunch with my "Bantu" family Somali friends, and damn, can they cook beyond the superficial pasta and rice dishes. They are Somalis like everyone of us. Sometimes I find hard to distinguish a "Bantu" Somali from a traditional nomad. Get on with life.

What a childish thread!

To the person who started this thread

One thing you're mising; people come different look but they are all beautiful because Allah created them, none else. So grow up and stop making yourself fool. Yes I don't differ somali from other African, Kuwaiti from Saudi or Qatari, Egyptian from Tunisian.. that's because I don't focus on people's out look. I know in one country and with in one race people come in different shape and look and that is all fine.

Ma’shallah I applaud the 2 posts above me—physical traits can’t be used to differentiate between races... Smile
