What you have failed to see is that the admiration and praise was based on his past actions. In fact, if you had bothered to listen to the interviews, you would have noticed that they provided reasons of their great admiration for him. Further, these praises originated way before the Kismayoo incident since the Cornayl offered to mediate between the two groups.

Here are the words of General Maxamed Nuur Galal in early Sept when the Cornayl issued an order to the former Somali National Army to stage a rally
