How could I forget about Istarliin Cabdi Caruush, thanks for reminding me eyes.

Galol, Istarliin Cabdi Caruush and her sister were peace activists in Aideed senior era, (her sister still is btw)... They created work shops and schools for women and young men, how come nobody is mentioning how many women and children they helped? ones who were displaced by the never ending war in Mogadishu, not to mention the Orphanage.

Istarliin had a campaign to disarm all the young mooryaans and instead educating them, I believe they even had a slogan "Qoriga dhig qalinka qaad" or something to that effect anyway. The warlords particularly the ones of her clan did not like her because she was messing with their mooryaan stash and therefore had to find something to make her look bad (Gaalo raac waaye oo dhalinyarada naga haleyneeso). Istarliin and her sister had to move to Merka because the HG warlods were threatening their peace activities.

She was shot in Kenya where she didn't have bodygaurds, supposedly by a Kenyan theif trying to steal her purse. Rumor has it though the murder was arranged by these crazy wadaads back in Xamar but it was never proven.
