You what? How long have England been building up this tournament eh? The frenzy, the excitement, the 'ol "Come on England, 2010 is our year!".... The build up songs, the bleeding 'Ohhhh, we can dreaaaam' advert we are forced to watch every match break..and the bleeding sods are on their way home after 4 dire games.

Out of all those planks on the pitch, none of them showed any desire to want even be out there, not one of them showed that bit of quality that we know they have and not one of them played and ounce of how they play at club level. Can you believe James was actually their "best" player from todays match lol? What does that tell ya eh? I dont think its Capellos fault although the guy is very stubbern; why he insists on playing Gerrard on the left is beyond me. And I still have no idea why the heck he brought on that Heskey fella when they were 4-1 down. At half-time you wouldve of thought the idiots would come out all guns blazing but in their feeble attempt to find an equaliser they fell asleep at the back. 4 goals due to pathetic defending and the giving away of possession so cheaply rather than due to the excellence of the opposition. Germany are by no means are poor squad but are actually quite young, inexperienced and quite frankly average. But they did indeed play better on the day and took all their chance superbly.

Im not going to say England were robbed from the goal that wasnt given because they played so horridly throughout the whole match they didnt deserve to go through. Wasnt bothered with the subject or the introduction of goal line technology before this match but if Sepp Blatter doesnt introduce ant sort of video replays or something now then he surely is a 1st class nacas. How football can be the only sport who doesnt use any sort of technology I cant figure out. Ball was at least 5 yards over the line, that bloody linesman should be banned for awhile for sheer stupidity. Also that other linesman in the Argentina-Mexico match that allowed teves' first goal must be getting death threats of some sort now.

Wale Come August, with the return of the new Premier League season, no doubt will we be seeing all of the English players showing their full potential. As much as everyone else thinks that this is due to the amount of foreign players in the league making the England players look good, I still think they basically have no desire or care when it comes to the international stage and they much rather prefer pouring all their passion into club football.

Wayne Rooney might aswell have stayed at home during this tournament, the fat dreadful sod. I got this text today from a friend:

WC Football Boots for Sale: No dirt, No Smudges, Doesnt even look like its been used. For any enquires, conatact Wayne Rooney.

Londoner, you are falling for the media criticism of the england players. Believe me, the england players care, but there was no chance of coping with the german mid yesterday with the midfield and the formation england played. I said that yesterday and Harry Redknapp said pretty much the same thing. 4 33 is the way to play nowadays. If you want to play 442, you need to have a pretty good sitting midfielder and the other midfielder has to help him as much as possible, otherwise you'll get over run like england did. Lampard is a fat prick, who doesn't run back enough and Barry was always trying to close down like 3 germans counter attackers. In the premiership Lampard and Gerrard have players like alonso, mashcerano, makelele(before), essien and so forth to help them in the midfield. But when it comes to playing with barry or someone else, they don't get back fast enough as they are not of the essien type. England missed Hargreaves. Maybe they should have utilised the services of carrick? He seems to be one of the only england players who can keep a ball. Lastly, england need to look at the type of players they are bringing through in the youth system. They need to give skinny somalis and midget players a chance, as opposed to always looking out for players who are fast and strong, lol.

Some very valid points.

Personally Englands midfield was the problem, no balance or width watsoever. Like you said if your gonna play a 442 then at least have a competent holding player like hargreves or even parker and some very good wingers who can put a ball into the box, milner was great, but no width was coming from the left, as it is not gerrads natrual position. Why Lampard plays in that position ahead of gerrad is beyond me. Also England have to stop picking the best english 11 and even resorting to playing players out of position and should instead pick the best england team, even if it means leaving big name players on the bench. Also Rooney played awful, which was more or less down to a long hard season, no service for the midfeild and too much pressure.

The funniest moment for me was when england where 3-1 down and then i see heskey coming on, I couldnt stop laughing, bringing on a player that has scored 3 goals all season to get or create a goal loool.

If England are satisfied with qualifying for every tournament and at best reaching the quarter finals then they should continue what they are doing, but if the actually want to progress then they should put greater emphasis on the technical ability of youth players coming through like glen hoddle said.

Just for the record even stevie wonder saw that the ball crossed the line and going in 2-2 at half time would of made the game very different.

Awful ref decisions are spoiling what should be a great footballing occassion.
